Nathan turned 4 August 30. I can't believe it has been four years since he blessed us with his presence and made me a mommy! I think I cried a little that my "baby" is now more a big boy than a baby!
At 4 years old Nathan:
- Wears 2T and 3T shirts
- still wears 24 months and 2T shorts
- Wears size 9 shoes
- Weighs about 33 lbs
- Goes to school from 7:30-6pm each day
- Still takes a nap during the day or he will not be fun
- Goes to bed around 8:15 and wakes up no later than 6:30
- Still doesn't eat a lot. Most days it's a battle to get him to eat; other days I can't give him enough food. He loves all fruits, most veggies, yogurt and milk
- Talks like he is 10. The things he says amazes me.
- Fights with his brother over any and all toys
Things he loves right now: Playdoh, Ninja Turtles, Mickey Mouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, puzzles (he can do 60 piece ones), coloring, cars, tractors, dinosaurs
Sometimes the words out of his mouth surprise me. This morning, he didn't call my parents "Gigi and Pawpaw" instead he said, "your mom and your dad". He uses the word "properly" quite often when talking about what is right and wrong. He will question anything and everything ALL.DAY.LONG. He's also learning to talk back to mom and dad :(
He's learning to write the letters in the alphabet and numbers and loves the game "Mr. Pencil" on the ipad where he traces letters and numbers.
He's loving, stubborn, argumentative and sweet all within 5 minutes! He will be arguing with me and then loving me the next.
I love him so much and can't wait to see how much he grows in the next year. There will be tissues needed when we hit 5.....
