Ryan's favorite part of the rodeo was riding the horses. There were kids older than him screaming as they were riding and Ryan is just smiling away. Ryan only screamed when he had to get off and kept screaming he wanted to ride it more... We had to bribe him with ice cream.
Nathan rode like a big boy all by himself.
While the boys were waiting in line to get some Dippin' Dots a few police officers were walking by. My talkative Nathan of course had to go up to them and say hi and start a conversation about how they help people. The officers were so nice and ended up giving both boys little Gladewater Police Badges. Nathan of course thought that was the coolest thing ever!
Nathan running after baby calves as part of the junior calf scramble (8 yrs and under). (He's in a gray shirt and is about right in the middle and at the back of the "group" of kids). He did a lot better this year and didn't cry when he feel. He got right back up and kept going.
Oh. After Nathan decided he just HAD to have some cotton candy, got it and took 1 bite and then said he didn't like it... Ryan decided he would just eat the entire bag himself... That was a fun car ride home with a hyper little boy!
