FROZEN and FUN!

For the most part - this has been a GREAT week!.  School was closed on Monday for MLK so Nana watched the boys and took them to a friends birthday party that day.  I was able to go for a little bit during my lunch hour and it was lots of fun.  It was a girl in Nathan's class so of course it was "FROZEN" themed. They had and 'Elsa" come and tell the story and she did a great job!

Nathan had GREAT days at school on both Wednesday and Thursday.  He even got a smiley face sent home on Wednesday.  So for his special treat, he got a Dairy Queen Blizzard.  Friday on the other hand.....NOT so well.  I got a phone call at 9:15 and after lunch Jason had to go to school to "talk" to him.

Saturday Jason and I both had to work (how many more months of tax season?!) so the boys went to Nana's house to play with her and Aunt EJ.  Nathan had a great day there.  After Ryan's recent obsession about Nana and Granddad's Christmas train, poor Nana and Granddad had to go get a non-Christmas train so Ryan wouldn't totally break down when he didn't see one there.  (Seriously, this boys asks to see Granddad's choo choo EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT).  It took him a while to get over it not being the Christmas one...but he LOVED it.  I got off work about 3 and went grocery shopping and cleaned the house before Jason and I headed out to have dinner at Nana and Granddad's.  THANKS SO MUCH NANA!!

Sunday was GREAT!  I really needed a day of relaxation after working the past 3 Saturday's to enjoy time with Jason and the boys so we skipped church :(.  The boys and I played outside for about 2 hours in the morning, we had a picnic lunch again (this time with Daddy), Nathan went to the golf course with Jason during Ryan's nap and after the boys got back from the golf course, Nathan practiced riding his bike while Ryan played with his "McQueen" car and Jason grilled some yummy deer meat.  I could not have asked for a better day!

Here's pictures that summarize our week:

Monday morning on the way to meet Nana.  Ryan wanted to hold bubba's hand.  Is it just me or does Nathan look MUCH older here?!
