Last weekend proved why living in Texas you never know what to expect. Saturday was BEAUTIFUL outside and we had a great day. It was about 70 degrees outside. We spent the morning doing crafts and playing inside while I cleaned the house and did laundry. We went outside before lunch for a while and then again after nap. Nathan had a blast! Ryan on the other hand was a little fussy due to teething. 24 hours later..... it's freezing rain, trees are freezing and we lose power for 24+ hours... Sunday night was NOT fun! It was about 55 degrees in our house and trying to keep Nathan and Ryan both warm and get them to sleep was not fun. I don't think I slept more than 2 hours. Thankfully, Nana and Grandad let us spend the night there Monday night and we all got a well rested night of sleep! Here's some pictures of our day last Saturday.
