16 months

Ryan turned 16 months on January 10 and I want to write down what he is all doing at this age.  At 16 months Ryan:

• is hard-headed, impatient, outdoorsy and cute
• is signing "more" and "all done"
• when something is hot (or he thinks it is), he puts up both hands and says "hot" ("ha")
• knows where his head, ears, hands, belly, legs and feet are (he might know more, but those are the ones he knows well)
• LOVES to carry things around.  Current favorites are his blanket, books and cars.  If he doesn't have one in both hands.....he gets fussy
• is starting to push/hit Nathan when Nathan has something he wants
• does not share (see above)
• has 6 teeth (4 on top; 2 on bottom).  However, today I noticed he has pretty much cut an entire molar on the bottom - so up to 7 teeth!
• wearing 12-18 months clothes but more towards 18 mos
• wearing size 4 shoes, some size 5
• wearing size 5 diapers
• is starting to run everywhere - it's so cute watching his little run!
• loves to drop things and go "uh-oh".  Other than carrying things around - this is his favorite thing to do
• is starting to eat with utensils but usually gives up and uses his hands because it's faster
• knows what a monkey looks like and will make monkey noises on cue
• getting better at climbing up and down things
• LOVES playing with cars and books.  He will play with cars by himself for hours
• can say the following words 1) mama 2) dada 3) uh-oh 4) bye-bye 5) belly (ba be) 6) more 7)all done 8) hot "ha" 9) bottle "bot ba"

I cant wait to see what he all learns in the next month!
