Nathan was able to join in the Pre-K swimming class where he begin learning the fundamentals of swimming. They would practice over and over "swimming" from one helper to the next. They had to swim under water and blow bubbles and kick at the same time. Nathan did really great and the teacher was glad we decided to switch him from Water Babies to Pre-K.
Listening to Mrs. Gina
Practicing our submersion skills with Mrs. Gina
Swimming from one person to the next..
Waiting our turn...
Of course he loved jumping in the deep end during the last 10 minutes each day
Ryan's swimming lessons were Water Babies where I got in the pool with him and he learned pre-swimming skills like floating, bubble blowing, kicking and submersion techniques. He was probably the youngest one in the group but the only one that did not scream at the top of his lungs on a daily basis. He pretty much smiled the entire time in the pool and only screamed when it was time to get out. He LOVES the water!
