Start of Summertime!

For the past few months every time that we went to Nana and Granddad's Nathan asked when he could ride the Sea-Doo and the boat.  And every time we told him "not today" a fit ensued.    Thankfully last weekend was nice enough that we could do it.  Granddad charged up the Sea-Doo and the boat and we went to their house after church on Sunday to play on the lake.  Nathan had a BLAST and is already asking when we can go back.  I think the boy could live in the water if we let him.  He was so excited to ride the Sea Doo and had a blast "practicing walking in the water".  Ryan had his first boat ride and wasn't sure what was going on.  He didn't like his life jacket but once the boat was going, it was hard to tear him away from looking out the back.    Here's a few pictures of all the fun the boys had..

Nathan wanted to "practice walking in the water".  This was an area on the lake that is designated as a little beach area where you can walk and play.  Nathan had such fun walking out as far as he could before the water got too high on him

And how could we forget fishing?!  I don't have a picture of it, but Nathan caught a little bass fish on his own!

I also don't have a picture of it, but Nathan helped Jason drive the boat to the boat ramp and load it up on Granddad's truck.  He would not stop talking about how the boat "went up high high high on granddad's truck and he pulled us out"!  

We are looking forward to lots of fun on the lake before the heat of summer starts.
