Who Needs Toys?! Chores are more fun!

I have no idea what is wrong with my son....but I'm not going to complain too much!  Lately he could care less about playing with his toys but LOVES to play with mommy and daddy's chore "toys".  I'm sure about the time I will really need him to start doing his chores he will have no interest in them...

Nana bought Nathan a little miniature swiffer and a broom and dust pan.  Last Friday as I was vacuuming and swiffering the kitchen Nathan HAD to help.  He really wanted something to sweep up.  Well, I tried to look for something that wasn't too expensive to basically throw on the ground for him and decided on some flour.  1/2 cup of flour, a broom and dust pan kept him entertained for about 30 minutes!  And the flour was all swept up as well!

As we were playing outside one day, Nathan didn't want to play with his car, golf clubs or baseball, he took it upon himself that the tree needed to be watered.........  (Granted it is bare.....but hey!...it's the winter!)
