On Saturday morning, Nathan had his TOTs skills challenge. TOTs is Teams of Tomorrow program and goes to Nathan's school every Wednesday to help them learn basketball skills, hand/eye coordination, and listening skills. For my un-coordinated child, he does pretty well. On Saturday the kids got to work one on one with their parents and show us all the skills that they have learned over the past few months. They did each skill and you had to count how many times they did it correctly without messing up. There are some that he does really good at and others that we will have to work on. Saturday afternoon the weather was almost perfect so the boys and I spent quite a bit of time outside.
Rolling the ball around 1 leg.
Rolling it around his body
Rolling around both legs
Bounce, turn around, catch. He actually did really good at this one.
Tossing and catching
Single Hand Dribbling
Nana and Aunt EJ came to watch and kept Ryan entertained.
He got a medal!
All the kids that participated
Nathan and his buddy Zaden
Nathan and his friends Zaden and Ellie
Saturday afternoon, both boys of course had to practice their basketball skills outside. Nathan and Ryan actually both did pretty well making baskets. Nathan his now standing about 10 feet away and making them about 1/2 the time. Ryan likes to cheat ;)
We probably spent all afternoon outside - other than the hour they took a nap.
He's getting better and his t-ball too.
Ryan the ball boy!
He looks all serious. Then watch him try to hit the ball.....lol. He needs some work!
Ryan attempting to hit the ball!
Long day of outside fun = popsicles and movie night on a pallet.
