Gigi's Birthday Weekend

This weekend my parents and brother came up for my mom's birthday.  We didn't get to do all the fun things I had planned a few weeks ago since most of those plans originally involved the outside.  And since Winter seems to be confused this year...(70s in January/early Feb and 30s in late Feb/early March)...we were not able to play outside ANY.  :(  Regardless, the boys and myself still had a good weekend and we hope my parents did to.  (NOTE:  Jason had to work on Saturday but enjoyed the morning with us on Sunday).  Nathan and Ryan loved playing with Gigi, Pawpaw and Uncle Eric.  Here's some of this weekends highlights.  It was the perfect ending to an otherwise nasty/bad week of winter weather.

FYI - empty cardboard boxes provide LOTS of entertainment...WHY do they have toys?!

Shipping the boys back to East Bernard to Gigi & PawPaw's

The next bob-sled team?

When it falls apart - it's a great place to color!

Gigi introduced both boys to Blue Bell Bullets this weekend.....they both loved them and I'm pretty sure ate 1/2 the box this weekend alone...

Nathan making Gigi her birthday card.

That's Ryan saying "CHEESE" for the camera.  He likes to yell it but not look...  He's enjoying his popsicle too.

Gigi's Birthday Pie - Apple! :)

Uncle Eric played "Hide & Seek" with the boys for quite a while on Saturday and both boys loved it.  This is Eric and Ryan counting while Nathan hides.

LOL - watching Ryan count was the funniest thing ever.  He looked like this and YELLED his numbers....he would count to 12 (past 10) and then start back at 6....   Also, when it was his turn to hide....once the others were done counting...he ran out of his hiding spot and yelled 'Surprise"!  I think we need to work on the "hiding" concept... :)

Ryan loves his Uncle Eric.  Watching Dinosaur train of course!

Happy Birthday Gigi!

Both boys all snuggled up with Gigi & Pawpaw Saturday night watching "The Lego Movie".

We had fun with Gigi, Pawpaw and Uncle Eric and will sure miss them!  We are already looking forward to Easter when we will hopefully see them again and hope we have better weather then!
