Spring Break - Part 1 (Fun with Family)

We had so much fun during Spring Break that I just had too many pictures to include them all in one post - so they are broken out into a few posts.  I hope you enjoy!

Nathan's school was closed the week of Spring Break and Jason had a tax deadline the same week.  I thought it was the perfect time for me and the boys to drive down to good ole' East Bernard and spend a week visiting Gigi and Pawpaw and family and friends.  I was a little hesitant about making the drive by myself with both boys but it wasn't too bad. (It took 5 hours).  Ryan was probably better behaved than Nathan....   Nathan's DVD was messed up and he kept getting upset and asking if we were there yet.  Ryan slept maybe 1.5 hours but happily played/looked out the window most of the trip. We left early the Friday before Spring Break and left the Sunday after.  Both boys had a blast playing with their Gigi, Pawpaw and Uncle Eric!

Ryan loved the swing!

Nathan loved having his Pawpaw push him.  (Yes - we had to wear the boots this morning...)

Biggest hit - his sandbox - he wanted to play in it all day - every day!

Swinging with Gigi!

Ryan trying to figure out Pawpaw's beard

What to do with the sand?  Why - bury Pawpaw's feet of course!

Nathan loved playing with his Uncle Eric

Enjoying playing in his tent.  This thing is probably 18 years old - it was my brothers when he was a little boy and I remember Eric playing in it all the time!

We got a big-boy haircut in a big boy barber shop by our cousin way down the line...

Playing with Uncle Eric in Eric's old tree house
Because my son can't go anywhere without playing with cars...  Playing with all of Uncle Eric's old cars.

Uncle Eric ready Nathan his bedtime book

Hanging outside

Watching Mickey Mouse with Nana Pribyl

Attempting to take a picture with both boys all dressed up at my Aunts wedding.....was not mean to happen!

Gigi and Pawpaw and their boys!

Playing with Great-Aunt Annette

Water gun fight!

More water gun fight!

We had such a great time spending time with all our family!  We are looking forward to our next trip back!
