Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Day

We celebrated Easter a day early by having our Easter egg hunt on Saturday night rather than Sunday morning.  As expected, it ended up raining most of Sunday morning and afternoon.  Guess that Easter Bunny watches the weather forecast as well ;).  Nana, Granddad and Aunt EJ came by to join us and my parents Saturday evening to watch the boys hunt their eggs and to enjoy a yummy meal of hamburgers and hot dogs.  We also enjoyed a smash egg fight.

Sunday morning the boys played with Pawpaw for a little bit before we all went to church to celebrate the real reason for Easter - the death and resurrection of our God.  My parents didn't leave to go back to East Bernard until Monday morning so we all spent the rest of Sunday relaxing.

I think I'm still recuperating from the fun and busy weekend.  We don't have much planned for this upcoming weekend so hopefully it will be a quite and relaxing weekend.
