For the three-day Easter weekend, we drove down to East Bernard to Gigi and PawPaw's house. We had the BEST drive we ever had down and back. We only had to stop once on the way there about 15 minutes from their house for Nathan to go to the bathroom. On the way back - we almost had record time but had to stop to eat dinner otherwise we could have driven all the way through. I think Ryan is finally at the age where the DVD player will entertain him. The boys had a blast Friday afternoon and evening playing outside with the neighbors grand kids. The weekend was such a blast - I can't get it all into one post. On Friday we played outside and then Saturday morning we colored eggs and made a bunny cake. Saturday afternoon we went to Houston to see Disney On Ice and then Sunday we went to church and had a few Easter Egg hunts. The best way to describe all our fun in through pictures:
A boy and sand.....what more do they need?
Ryan loves the sand to.
Helping Gigi water her plants....
Don't mess with Ryan and watermelon......
Eating watermelon and cantaloupe
Playing with Uncle Eric
Swinging with Pawpaw
The boys way up high in Uncle Eric's old tree house....
Look out!
Nathan loved the neighbors trampoline!!
Ryan liked the idea of it...but not actually jumping...
Playing with bubbles from Mrs. Bernice
Ryan loved the bubbles too
