This past weekend the boys got to have a "boys night" Friday night and Saturday during the day with Jason while I went to Dallas with Aunt EJ and Nana to look for Aunt EJ's wedding dress. It didn't start out well for Jason since Nathan got in trouble at school and didn't get to watch the movie Friday night. Thankfully Saturday was better and both boys listened. I'm sure it also helped on Saturday that Jason took the boys to Granddads and they got to swim! So - what all happens on a boys night you might ask?! Well - it seems like they involve lots of tents!
Nathan eating his pizza in the tent by himself. Since Nathan got in trouble - he had to eat his pizza at the table with his back to the living room.
Apparently boys days include Saturday morning trips to the donut shop for breakfast :)
Then you get to eat your breakfast in the tent while watching cartoons....
AND....you read books to your brother in the tent...
Funny how much excitement a sheet and four chairs can bring to two little boys. It's definitely the simple things in life....
