This past weekend, the boys school had their Fall Fest 2014. This was a fundraiser put on by the parents association to raise money for the teachers and school. This is our 3rd year at Oak Forest Montessori School but our 1st year to both attend the fest and participate. The past 2 years the fundraiser was in April which does not work with a husband who is a tax accountant. This year they moved it to November and there was an AWESOME turnout! I helped a little with the silent auction both before the fest and during. I also helped set up Saturday morning. There were about 20+ games the kids could play and get a toy, a blow-up slide, face-painting, cake walk, bake sale, picture booth, silent auction and yummy food! The boys played and did everything at least once and a few things twice. The school was also even able to get a fire truck to come for a while and let the kids climb all over it. Nana and Aunt EJ were able to come and watch the boys and also found a few treats at the silent auction :)
Saturday night Nana and Aunt EJ took the boys to see Veggie Tales Live so Jason and I were able to have a few hours without the boys :)
All set up!
