Christmas Day 2013

We spent Christmas this year at home.  It was so wonderful to be able to see Christmas in Nathan and Ryan's eyes - they had a blast!  Nathan tore tore through all of his presents like crazy and Ryan opened his first one and then played with that the rest of the time and didn't care about opening any more.  We went to church on Christmas Eve and then came home and wrote our letter to Santa and left him milk and cookies and carrots for his reindeer.  Christmas morning Nana, Granddad and Aunt EJ came over to watch the boys open their presents.  Christmas evening we went to Nana and Granddads to open presents there and have dinner.  Scroll through the pictures below to see all the fun we had!

Nathan writing his own letter to Santa

Nathan's letter..  he read aloud as he "wrote" and it was a pretty elaborate letter

Ryan and the Santa presents....... photo take #159

Ryan would have been happy all day if all he got were goldfish..

Nathan thought Silly Puddy was the best thing ever

Sitting on presents is better than opening them

Opening our last present from Santa.... The manual to a police car..  now only to find where Santa put it....

Nathan found it in the garage.....

And ripped the paper off!

Best present ever!

Ryan liked sitting on it rather than playing
