Gift Bags and Park Days

The weekend before Christmas Jason went deer hunting so the boys and I met up with some friends at the park.  Earlier in the week the boys enjoyed making gift bags for their Christmas parties and making their teachers presents.  I wish I had taken pictures of the "after" product but I didn't!  So, I will just have to attempt to explain it.  We made Ziploc baggies of "Snowball Soup".  It was made up of hot chocolate, a candy cane, a Hershey kiss and marshmallows.  It had a cute saying with it and turned out cute!

Nathan helped start a supply train to make the bags.  Ryan started them, passed them to Nathan, who passed them to me and I passed them to Jason.  Each person was responsible for putting something in the bags.

The boys had tons of fun at the park Saturday morning with Jackson & Jordan Moore!

The boys decided to use sticks to hit dry ant piles!

After the park, the Moore's came over to our house for a picnic lunch and to enjoy some trampoline fun.

Later that afternoon after the boys nap...Ryan of course wanted to come back outside and plan and Nathan would rather play with his Light Brite inside.  This matches these boys personalities to a T.  Ryan loves being outside and doesn't care of it's dark or stormy...  And Nathan loves games, books and coloring..  Wouldn't trade either for the world!
